The saxophone, renowned for its association with coolness, is among the most popular instruments to learn. It holds a prominent place in jazz, rock, pop, and, to a lesser extent, classical music. The saxophone family comprises four standard instruments – soprano, alto, tenor, and baritone – with additional variations like the sopranino and bass saxophone. When embarking on your saxophone journey, starting with either the alto or tenor saxophone is recommended for a solid foundation.
