Q. Do you teach children?
A. Yes. However, from experience we find children younger than 7 tend to struggle with the guitar, so we recommend age 5-8 starting with the ukulele which shares the same strings as the guitar. Young guitarists should start with an acoustic guitar with nylon strings to make it easier on their fingers.
Q. Where I can get a guitar?
A. Guitars come in different sizes and budgets. For young beginners we recommend going to a music store with a wide selection of guitars and asking a sales consultant to help you choose guitar of the right size.
Q. I’ve always dreamed of playing a particular song. Can you help me?
A. Sure. We will work with you on your favorite songs and styles.
Guitar/Ukulele (age 6+)
Our highly-trained professional instructor teach guitar/ukulele lessons starting with the fundamentals, including scales, chords, tuning, arpeggios and rhythm. They then incorporate famous classical/Rock/popular songs to help guide guitar students through the early stages of musical development. Our guitar lessons inspire creativity and help develop new students into world-class players with weekly lessons. Our lessons are structured to give the student a clear path when studying the guitar. Our approach combines mastery of the instrument with a solid music education that helps our students not only learn how to play but also to understand how guitar music is created.
