The first year of music lessons is an exciting mix of discovery, frustration, progress, and small wins that gradually build into real confidence. While every child moves at their own pace, there are a few common milestones most beginners experience along the way.
In the first few weeks, the focus is usually on the basics: learning how to hold the instrument properly, understanding simple rhythms, and getting familiar with reading basic musical symbols.
